Hello! My name is Mya McCarron; I’m a second year Biological Sciences Major and Anthropology Minor at the University of Alberta, and I’m planning on pursuing my masters in Medical Microbiology and Immunology. Although I love STEM, my interests are broad; I’m also a casual writer and digital artist!

Despite having ADHD and a math-related disability (AKA Dyscalculia) I managed to succeed with honours in 11th and 12th grade and I pursued my first major in an honours liberal arts program before switching to biological sciences. My core belief as a tutor is that no one is predisposed to be “bad” at any one subject - it’s just a matter of finding what works for you and discovering how you can best succeed.

I offer help with Math 10C, Science 10, Bio 20/30, Chem 20/30, all levels of social studies and all levels of English.
